Description
Dura Wood Seal is water based Sanding sealer & base coat of high solids and penetrates the grain of the wood and dries rapidly to form a hard, durable base coat. It sands easily with minimum effort without clogging paper.

Surface Preparation & Application
- Surface must be clean, dry, and free of all contaminants. Sand raw wood with 220 grit before staining & topcoat. Also do sanding between coats with 320 grit or extra fine pad to assure proper appearance & adhesion.
- Conventional Spray, Air Assisted Airless, HVLP, Airless.
- HVLP: Use a 0.043” - 0.051” (1.1--1.3 mm) nozzle / tip assembly & Medium Air Cap.
- Air-assisted airless or Airless: 0.009”—0.013” tip, 300—600 psi fluid pressure, 10-30 psi air pressure.
- Allow 30 minutes -2 hours to dry before sanding (Depends upon temperature / humidity).
- Sand with 320 grit or finer(extra fine finishing pad) between coats;1-2 coats recommended.
Stain Recommendation
Recommended Dura Aqua stain for best results and superior adhesion. Allow stain to dry thoroughly before sealing. Always adequately check adhesion to ensure proper performance.
Storage
Dura Wood Lacquer Matt should not be stored for longer than 6 months before processing. As far as possible, storage should be at a uniform temperature in the region of 10 – 25 °C. The product should, in principle, be kept away from frost.
The technical data ascertained by our quality control laboratory at the time of product release may vary according to the storage time and storage conditions and may deviate from the stated limits.
